Raising grant money can ordinarily be done in 2 (two) ways. First, individuals can apply for a grant from their local, state, or federal government. These grants are issued for educational purposes, but there might be other ways that government money (grant money) can be used.

Receiving grants for single mothers from non-profits and businesses is one way to raise money in this section.

The requirements for using this money are less stringent than those for government grants because it comes from private organisations.

The following is a list of grants in the United States for single moms. It is a good starting point for finding a grant.

EOG (Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant)

The FSEOG grant is needs-based as well. The grant is designed especially for students with the greatest financial assistance and need. As single moms, their need for funds may trump ordinary college students since they may have a worse financial situation than most. The more they need, the more they get. They will receive between $100 to $4,000. That’s a broad range, for sure, but again the grant is needs-based.
